Rodrigo Tavera Mendoza Biography
TAVERA MENDOZA RODRIGO Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico, 15 October 1968.
He has participated in about seventy solo and group exhibitions sponsored by public and private institutions in several countries. Since 1986 working in the field of Visual Arts in forms as diverse as painting, drawing, engraving, screen printing, graphic design and publishing, curating, set design and illustration. Of the latter, include both the illustration, book covers and posters, as the specialist in natural history illustration: Zoology, Anatomy and especially botany, a discipline in which has illustrated over thirty books. Drawings published regularly in a score of magazines in America and Europe, and has worked on eighteen other outreach publications in Mexico and Spain. His work is part of public and private collections in Mexico, Spain, USA, Canada, Cuba, Paraguay, Austria, France, Australia, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Holland and Italy. Lives and works in Seville from February 1996.
