Romain Secco Biography

Lebanon, 1965 -

Lebanese-born French painter, Romain Secco is a SELF-TRAINED ABSTRACT painter.

The artist recognizes master artists, such as KLEE, KANDNSKY, CHAGALL and VAN GOGH, as the major influences in his art. A well-travelled artist, he uses his paintings, as expressions of his journeys.

The artist paints both on CANVAS and WOOD. He uses dark 19th and 18th century wood panels, to stress the luminosity of the colors and irregular surfaces to create special effects.
