Walter Feldman Biography

Massachussets, 1925 -

American ABSTRACT PAINTER and MOSAIC maker Walter Feldman has been a proffesor of art at Brown University for more than 46 years.

Feldman trained at Yale University with Willem de Kooning and Josef Albers. He travelled to France and Italy with the Alice Kimball English Travelling scholarship. Feldman received the following Awards for his work:

1957: 1º Premio Mostra Internazionale de Milan.

1958: Tonner Prize, American Color Print Society.
