(London, 1922-)

British painter and printmaker, widely recognized as one of the leading pioneers of Pop art.

Trained at the Royal Academy and the Slade School, his artwork, ' What Is It that Makes Today’s Homes So Different, So Appealing ', a photomontage, depicting a various advertising images, is considered by some critics to be the first Pop art work.
