Superb offset lithograph from Volume 1 of "Miró's Lithographs", by Mourlot in 1972. Only 5000 were printed of the edition. This piece is after Miró's 1944 Barcelona series and is number 30 of 55 completed in New York. Catalogue raisonné listed Mourlot 35, the lithograph is signed by Miró 'in the plate' with year (just about visible lens assisted, to lower right hand corner), & verso the plate are corroborative details catalogued in lead. The lithograph is vacuum sealed & mounted on acid free black to white matting board, and benefits dimensions* of: Support 257 x 202 mms, Plate 235 x 178 mms. The item is in excellent condition (never framed) for its period and will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity detailing the history and characteristics of the article.
