Espe Pons Biography

Spanish photographer Espe Pons´ dream-like work involves the search for pure beauty through the imagination; it is up to the spectator to develop a narrative round the images.

This project, Arquitectura en la Oscuridad (Architecture in the Darkness) is not about describing industrial landscapes. Instead, its is an attempt to transform these landscapes by seeing them in different way. In the darkness, the essence of light and the architecture of the landscape have a crucial role to play.

Pons trained at the IDEP and at the CROC art schools in Barcelona.
