Artist's Statement
I strive to create original art inspired from the natural world around me. I have a fascination with nature and its juxtaposition with our manmade world. This has allowed me to pluck natural images, symbolism and imagery, manipulating them with a variety of techniques to produce fresh vibrant works that have a strong surreal element. The natural becomes the unnatural and vice versa as a surreal reflection on our world is forged
My artwork is in constant transition with traditional artist's methods and skills, meeting new technologies and fresh ideas. It is the integration of these forms that is the driving force behind my work.
