Luciano Couselo Biography
Luciano Couselo is born in Santiago de Compostela in 1950, studies Drawing, painting Lithography and Engraving in the Baixas Academy in Escola D'arts i Oficis the Llotja and in the Escola Conservatori of the Llibre of Barcelona.
Criticisms:
Couselo, creator equipped with a special force, confronts the painting with dynamism and serenity producing a very near work with a symbolist expresionismo where the human figure, especially the one of the woman, has much importance. It works with acrylic on fabric and paper, coverall. Sometimes it uses oil especially with mixed techniques. Its exposition changes when it works with watercolor, discipline where the color becomes more amiable and the description of atmospheres is more realistic, as it is the case of the series dedicated to the jazz.
