Detailed Description

Abstract Thought 508 is an original acrylic painting by Theo Dapore. The painting is the first approach in revisiting the style of a previous painting "Weekend in Thailand". Dapore works in many styles using some experimental techniques. Soft pastels are used with overhanging strands of a darker value to enforce the feel of looking in. The painting is gallery wrapped with sides painted so the painting may be hung without adding the addition of a decorative frame. Hanging hardware has been installed so the piece is ready to hang. Finishing is done using a mat ultraviolet varnish. The canvas are a master series canvas .75 inches thick, with the wooden frame much heavier than a lesser grade prestretched canvas. Dapore is a well established and collected artist. He is listed in the national art registry and all of his works are documented and electronically filed. Theo's studio, located in Wiregrass Mall in Dothan Alabama USA, is prompt to answer e-mails. Shipping: all art will be shipped in Styro foam cartons.
