Emerging, self-taught American artist William Anderson was studying to be a Catholic priest when he left his seminary career in 1995. After working for a year in a steel factory and later for two in a telephone company, he began to develop his creative nature. He first used found objects in his works. His paintings are often include bold colors, a mix of media and a collage component.
