NPK

NPK was founded in 1978 by Ninaber van Eyben, Wolfram Peters, and Peter Krouwel. NPK is based in the Netherlands but also has branches in Boston and Hamburg. They have played a large part in the public life through projects such as designing the Dutch traffic orientation system and the letter box for Dutch national mail.

Known for their focus to detail, they merge the work of designers and engineers. They have designed many technical products such as meat-slicing machines and X-ray equipment. They have also created many everyday products such as the Sno-Cross sledge and the Art vacuum cleaner for Miele. They also created the highly popular, ellipsoidal shaped, highlighter pen.
