DESCRIPTION:
Founded in 1986 in Bern, in 1996, the gallery moved to Zürich in a location situated in an emerging new galleries-scene not far from Sothebys, Kunsthalle and other art related locations. The Gallery's main domain is young art, african and oceanic art and part of the estate of Marianne Werekin, the famous painter who belonged to the avantgarde in Munich in the early 20th century (Neue Künstlervereinigung, Blauer Reiter).
Occasionally the Gallery also sells single works of classical modern art as Jim Dine, Larry Rivers..., following the idea of collecting art as visual aesthetic pleasure. The Gallery represents in Switzerland: Copa and Sordes, Beat Feller, Nan Hoover, Innocente, Thomas Kohl, Otto Lehmann, Plumcake, Jürg Zahnd, and Howard Smith.
