Detailed Description

Starting Line Circuit La Sarthe with some of the FORD GT 40 Mk IV participants at the 35th Grand Prix of Le Mans 1967. The Ford GT40 took the back called "long tail" aerodynamically designed to improve performance in the long Straight French circuit. It was called "The Great Race", by the rivalry between Ferrari and Ford, as the previous year in 1966, Ford beat Ferrari with GT40. Ferrari took the best of Maranello for the occasion, but did them much since Ford won four consecutive years (1966-1969). In 1967, the theme of this work, won the No. 1 Ford driven by Dan Gurney and Anthony Joseph "AJ" Foyt Team Shelby American Inc. USA. Also they competed in the legendary race drivers like Bruce McLaren and Mark Donohue (Ford # 2, Pole Position), Lucien Bianchi and Mario Andretti (Ford # fast lap) among others. In painting they appreciate the atmosphere prior to the test with the mechanics, invited guests and journalists around motor vehicles.
