Stereoscopic Photography

Stereoscopic photography is a photographic technique which yields simulated three-dimensional photographs. In this process, two photographs are taken using two lenses a short distance apart. The resulting photos are then viewed with a special viewer which prevents the eye from seeing the opposite picture. The brain takes in the two photos and melds them, resulting in a 3D effect.
