IN HER OWN WORDS:

I seek to find unique beauty in the mundane. I am on an intimate level with everyday objects that most take for granted. When capturing these images I am immersed in the saturated color and the shapes of the subject.

I have found a way to paint images with light and color. By the use of depth of field and manipulation of objects, I can sculpt the image into a finished composition.

My main influences include EXPRESSIONIST PAINTERS, mainly KANDINSKY, DELAUNEY and DA STAEL and the ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONIST painters, such as DE KOONING and MOTHERWELL. My love of color comes from the IMPRESSIONISTS and the FAUVISTS, such as MATISSE and DERAIN.
