Detailed Description

Capturing the essence of the landscape rather than the reality: the area is dominated by the mountain of Pic Saint Loup and its sister, the Hortus. Rivers (including the Lez and the Hérault itself) wind down to the sea, past poppy fields, vineyards, fields with animals and towns and cities. Large raptors can often be seen circling the mountain.
