Besides a short period of art education in high school, I am for the most part self-taught. The same can be said for my photography. Altho I am passionate about photography, my true passion is painting. After several years of not picking up a paintbrush I now thankfully find myself in the right space to begin again.
Artist's Statement
Without some preconceived diatribe as to the meaning of my work, I paint without much conscious thought. I create first and think later. It’s me in the raw without conscious censorship. It’s a road to my self without the roadblocks. It’s my freedom. It’s my freedom to you. I do not limit myself to my thoughts, why do you feel the need to limit yourself to mine.
