Artist's Statement

I was born in Mexico City in 1957 and now living in Sweden since 1976. My work is a combination of both Latinamerican and European traditions. The treatment of colour is strong and colorful as the ancient Mexican cultures, the German Expressionist movement of Blauer Reiter and the wild French fauvism. While the form language finds it´s inheritance in the Mexican mural painters such as Tamayo and the French school of Matisse.
