She began to draw and paint during her childhood at nearly the same time. Shortly after, she was exposed to the great masters of the twentieth century.
Paniagua believes strongly that pictorial art (and in general all art) must be global and done on a large scale because each picture has its own intention and content, and, consequently, requires its own outline and style, its own form, texture, tonality and atmosphere. This concept makes for an eclectic and independent style of painting.
