The limited edition prints of Juan Carlos Mestre are typified by the minute detail in which he works. He creates a sense of labyrinth, made up of tiny shapes each perfectly formed. Sometimes he uses many miniscule pictures to create a larger abstract whole. He thus draws the viewer into the details, while simultaneously producing a beautiful composition of color, that at first glance, appears to have no particular theme.
