Julia Sutton Biography

Julia Sutton is an East Anglian artist, who has spent much of life working in continental Europe. After a musical training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama as a harpsichordist, she established herself as a harpsichord decorator and worked in Belgium, Holland and Germany. She began painting in 1982 and after studies at the prestigious St Martins School of Art in London, she moved to Paris, where her work was discovered and presented by the critic Jacques Bouzerand.
