Artist's Statement

My favored method of working is with female models to create images that provoke thought about the complexities of the human psyche. Thankfully, an inexhaustible subject. I also like to work in the manner of the old master Henri Cartier-Bresson by freezing those unique moments in time that can suddenly present themselves in everyday life. The shot that looks posed is sometimes not and vice versa. So by nature I would class myself as primarily an instinctive photographer. In summary, the primary motivation for my work is to find beauty in the ordinary and subvert it to my own personal vision.
