Artist and graphic designer Nancy Lorene gives us a fresh take on vintage illustration. Artist's Statement
My illustrations begin with a careful reworking of vintage illustrations. The lines are cleaned up and polished, and I add my own artistic flair and interpretation. I often take bits and pieces from multiple sources and combine them to create a new composition. I then meticulously and carefully render the reimagined illustrations, tiny click by tiny click. This style adds a more realistic and human touch to my digital prints.
