Reference: Christopher Czwiklitzer: Picasso Posters” number 197 (The original poster of the same subject is Czw 52) Luis Carlos Rodrigo : “Picasso in his Posters” Volume 1II number 144 (The larger signed and numbered edition - not this - is Rodrigo 138) Note: This was made to advertise the forthcoming show given by the Madoura Gallery in 1964 of Picasso’s ceramic works. There was a larger work which was made as an Original Linocut and recorded in Bloch number 1301. Picasso uses calligraphy like an arabesque design .
